A lot of people think this means Over city.
Not so fast.
Ryan Miller leads the NHL in GAA, and the Devils are going to play hard in front of Weekes and limit scoring opportunities against a ne'er-used goalie using their defensive scheme.
It is a good test to see what Vegas is up to.

The AV's got smoked at home by the Sharks last night. Hawks are playing solidly.
Remember Joel Quenneville, head coach of the Hawks, used to coach Colorado.

The other game is Columbus vs Islanders. We wouldn't touch that game with a ten foot pole.
If you are feeling really lucky, put a bunch on the Steelers.
On a side note, we found some interesting crap about the Redskins and the Election.
Since 1936 (save for 2004), the Redskins Monday night game on Election Eve has predicted the winner of the election.
If the Redskins win, the party currently in the White House (the incumbent) gets another four years.
If the Skins lose, you get the picture.

Pay no attention to the ground noise that Brendan Shanahan is coming to Pittsburgh.
We already have three rivers.
Handing a fourth river of Shanahan's tears is not something Pittsburgh can handle.

I've got one other name that it might be (begins with "John" and ends with "-eclair"). But judging by some comments made today by Madden on his show, it may have been Gary Roberts.
I forget exactly how the comment went and I admittedly only heard parts of the show here and there while I was at work. But I do recall Madden talking about the Shanahan rumor and just made some general comments on bringing veterans into this locker room. He basically said what he said in his column, but named Roberts directly as someone who came in as a well-respected and well-liked leader and left as a someone who had clearly worn out his welcome.
PRAISE JESUS.

Doesn't this happen every game with him? I swear, dude would injure his throwing hand using it to open a bottle of milk.

That's two NHL mentions in three weeks on MNF: the Debbies were mentioned on Oct. 20, and the Pens tonight. The Verizon Center becomes the Mellon Center when the Pens are in D.C.
Shanahan was an asshole when he was with the Whalers. He demanded a trade after a season after initially being happy. Since then, it's appropriate he played for two teams I dislike (Rust Wings and Ranger$)
