Obama would have to jump up and down on the podium and call white people crackers and punch a baby to lose this election now. CNN now projects Virginia is leaning Obama's way, and McCain would have to now win every single battleground state left in order to have a shot.
I gotta say that I am proud of the people here. We have a post that just invites politial bitch-fighting and no one has lowered themselves to that level. There is a local news site I look at that has comments. This site is where the single largest concentration of bitter, hateful people exist. Somehow some jackass will manage to bring politics into a story that has nothing to do with it. Personally I am sick of hearing all these militant people telling me how bad the other party is.

@brett, think I either mentioned it here or maybe another board that I post on, but Chicago during the national anthem = awesome. Dude's voice is straight up powerful, and to hear the crowd getting behind him gets the JS seal of approval (not that it needed it or anything). For those not familar with it, youtube Chicago's All Star Game and look for the anthem. A very similar enviroment, from what I saw the other night, and from what somebody else told me, it's been like that since the mid 80s.

I'm actually registered Democrat (blue collar Dem, not asshole hippie liberal Dem), so I couldn't vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. Just remember that a write in for Ron Paul is basically a vote for Obama. I don't know if you're leaning left in this election, but that's the situation.
