Thanks J.S. That's a damn far drive from the south Jersey shore, but I think I can swindle a friend into going with me.
Stay as far away from the WBS store as possible.
I sent them my black jersey in June to get Bonvie 27, Robo patch, Captains patch, and Calder Cup 08 patch put on so it can be the "Last Game Ever of Dennis Bonvie" jersey.
They said I'd have it back in 4-6 weeks. By my count I'm nearing on 11 weeks and have yet to get my jersey back from them.
why drive? call them and set up an order.
I'm actually heading up to NY again on Tuesday and depending how late I leave, I'll see if they're still in stock. WBS is about 15 min off the path. At the very least, there was a ton of St Patty Day shirts left.
@jimmy, that sucks that it's taking so long. Can't think of one acceptable excuse aside from maybe trying to get a hold of a certain patch, but still 11 wks? I was hoping he'd have better luck with an order instead of a jersey modification.
I received an e-mail from them saying the woman who would apply the Robo patch to the jersey was on vacation but is back and would be applying the patch. That was on August 5.
A follow up e-mail a week ago about the status of the jersey has warranted no reply yet.
Granted a blank St. Patty's day jersey is probably less of a head-ache; I just wonder if maybe they're understaffed and orders aren't getting done in a timely fashion due to it being the off-season.
I know there were help wanted signs on their store windows when I was there last time.
