Wee Gary Bettman has made some calls, and would you believe it the fix is in for Gary's Baby Boy. The refs are going to hand one of these next two games to your team on a platter. And I am willing to bet it is Game 3.
We will witness more "hooking", "obstruction", and "slashing" penalties (quotation marks intended) against the Wings than they have taken all playoffs. Because, and I have been watching, the Pens more often than not benefited from weak calls made by the refs during this season.
Shock... Awe!! I said it... the refs haven't given the Pens' opponents as much rope as they have given the Pens. And I am not even talking about this series. Yet. But it will happen and mark my words.
The WINGS ON PARADE (to the penalty box) is what I call this game.
The league can't have Gary's Baby Boy go down 3 games, even if the Pens play better today, expect the refs to be the extra man on the ice for the team.
I promise not to complain during the game about it, as I am venting in advance.
