Thanks to Canaan.

Great shot.

Heatley out 4-6. Not that that will slow them down or anything.

Wow, that's bringing the freaking pain.

wilsmith, I wonder if Heatley's injury will put Malkin in the all-star game as his replacement. He should have been there anyway but there's no reason for his absence now.

That Slash photoshop is money.

Nice job on the recap of the Thrashers game...conveyed exactly what it felt like to watch that game come to an end last night.

nah, hebrew, they'll pick up some undeserving clown I'm sure.

If he does get added, I'm going straight to the Capitals board to see the "league loves Pittsburgh more" threads start up.

The dude that got dropped, T.J. Reynolds, played down here in Wheeling for 2 or 3 years. One of the last people I'd expect to get dropped like that. Everyone has a bad night I guess

wilsmith: Don't flatter yourself. I doubt such a thread would be made should that happen - Malkin was robbed and there's no one on the Caps right now who deserves to make the team more than he does. That's forwards, of course - how Gonchar beat out Green and Roszival is beyond me, though...talk about horrible d-men, Gonch is the worst. Caps fans know that better than anyone.

There's a ridiculous amount of readers from opposing teams that read this blog.

I am always impressed.

a Caps fan, I know.

wilsmith,

if heatley's injury doesn't put malking in the all-star game, maybe spezza's will.

the senators are going to suffer without both of them...and i'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

I leafed through a few other videos with Brennan in that, guy gets the knockdown quite a bit.

Anything new on the implosion of the Leafs?

Brennan has jobbed around the NHL for a few years, if you remember from pre-season he was involved in quite a few tussles. He's a decent fighter but by no means an NHL-calibur heavy. He has a big right but leaves himself open a lot and has been dropped by Peters and Boogaard. BGL would eat him alive.

That monstrosity of a jersey is a "Support the Troops" raffle the Bridgeport Sound Tigers have going on at the moment. They're giving two of them away, if I remember correctly (they were running it when I saw the Sound Tigers play last month).

I'm surprised that an NHL team would even give that cementhead Brennan a two-way deal, and I'm surprised the Isles didn't call him up when Simon got suspended to take care of all their goonery.

Pops and Nathan: I actually won one of those camo Sound Tigers jerseys at yesterday's game. They're kind of cool in person, and the $ goes to a good charity. The guy at the end of the video is Dave Zamboni from the Zambonis hockey band. Not to plug too blatantly, but he's a friend of mine, and the music is really varied and pretty awesome, as far as I'm concerned. thezambonis.com

GO PENS!

Man, I wish we still had Brennan on the Bears. Louie Robitaille just doesn't have that whole "punch back" concept down yet.

well, since the money goes to supporting our troops, that kind of makes me hate that jersey less.
