Our boys of summer closed out their season today with a 1-0 victory of the Cincinatti Reds. [insert Steelers joke here]
ESPN Game Recap
The Buccos finished the season with a 67-95 record, the same as last year. This year, however, the Pirates had a winning record after the all-star break (37-35).
The biggest news of today's game was Freddy Sanchez clinching the NL Batting Title, with a .344 average. He is such a good ballplayer and I'd hate to bore you with my analysis of him.
In other news, we Steelers fans rooted for the New England Patriots today.
